Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal

On April 28, 2011, Ubuntu 11.04 was released. It is codenamed Natty Narwhal and is the successor to Maverick Meerkat (10.10) (Maverick+1). Natty Narwhal is not an LTS (Long Term Support) release. It will be supported with security updates until October 2012

instalasi LibreOffice 3.3.2 di Ubuntu 10.10

Openoffice yang telah dibeli oracle membuat kuatir akan lisensinya di masa mendatang, bisa saja suatu saat nanti openoffice mempunyai lisensi berbayar ... untuk mengganti aplikasi perkantoran openoffice bisa menggunakan LibreOffice yang mempunyai lisensi GNU Lesser General Public License yang artinya bebas digunakan untuk personal ataupun komersil, bebas di copy dan di distribusikan, atau di modifikasi.

Sebelum menginstall LibreOffice, uninstall terlebih dahulu OpenOffice
- buka terminal lalu ketik :
  sudo apt-get purge openoffice*.*

- download LibreOffice
- klik kanan kemudian extract here pada LibO_3.3.2_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US.tar.gz
- ganti nama folder dengan nama libre
- simpan folder libre di /home/nama-komputer/libre

*nama-komputer bisa berbeda-beda disini saya memakai nama tedy :)

- kembali ke terminal
  cd home/tedy/libre/DEBS


- install semua file *.deb
  sudo dpkg -i *.deb

- setelah selesai masuk ke folder desktop-integration
  cd desktop-integration

- install file *.deb
  sudo dpkg -i libreoffice3.3-debian-menus_3.3-202_all.deb

 akhirnya selesai juga... selamat menikmati LibreOffice :)
