On April 28, 2011, Ubuntu 11.04 was released. It is codenamed Natty Narwhal and is the successor to Maverick Meerkat (10.10) (Maverick+1). Natty Narwhal is not an LTS (Long Term Support) release. It will be supported with security updates until October 2012
